Our Tree Maintenance Services
Selective removal of lower branches to increase the distance between the base of the canopy and ground level. Crown Lifting allows more light through and can prevent obstruction. Crown lifting can open up views and display previously hidden parts of the garden.
The reduction of the overall height and size of the tree by removing the ends of branches evenly throughout the crown. Crown reduction reduces wind resistance and water uptake. This reduction will control the size of the tree in a restricted environment or allow more light through.
The selective removal of internal branches evenly throughout the tree to reduce the density of the crown. Crown thinning does not change the overall size or shape of the tree. It is designed to reduce the damage that could result from crown resistance to strong winds.
The simple purpose of this is to make what’s known as the impact area (directly beneath the tree’s canopy) a safer environment to be in, so there is no chance of any limb shedding or falling from the tree’s canopy.
The selective removal of parts of the tree. Reasons to prune include deadwood removal, shaping by controlling or directing growth, improving or maintaining health and reducing risk from falling branches.
Felling & Dismantling
The complete removal of a tree. The tree is either felled in a single section using various techniques to control the direction of the fall or it is dismantled in sections. We dismantle trees of all sizes an types.
